Editing a User

Sometimes you may need to make some changes to user accounts at your radio station.

  • Login to SPARC Media Hub using your favourite browser
  • Select AdminCP from the sidebar (If you do not see AdminCP, you do not have sufficient permissions)
  • Select User Management from the sub menu. (If you do not see User Management, you do not have sufficient permissions)
  • Select View All Users
  • Find the user you wish to edit
  • Click on Edit/View User
  • The username is set when creating the user account. This cannot be changed.
  • The name of the user is set by the user on their control panel. As an admin, you cannot change this.
  • Select the station this user is assigned to. The stations they are already assigned to will be highlighted in blue.
  • Select the user group this user should be categorized. Each user group has different permissions throughout SPARC Media Hub. See User Group Tutorials for more information.
  • The field Assign to Remotes will allow this user to be assigned to remotes as the main announcer.
  • The field Assign as Remote Op will allow this user to be assigned to remotes as the remote operator.
  • The field Assign to Promo Events will allow this user to be assigned to any promotional event with the stations they're assigned to.
  • The field Giveaway Prizes will allow this user to be assigned to prizes to be given away on the air.
  • The field Available for Voice Requests will allow this user to be assigned voice requests from other markets using SPARC Media Hub.
  • The field Assign as Writer will allow this user to be assigned as a writer to any creative request.
  • The field Assign as Producer will allow this user to be assigned as a producer to any creative request.
  • Once complete, click on Save User Details and the user account will saved, and the changes made will take effect immediately.
